Unfortunately any persons choosing to make an income on the internet will
be exposed to some risk of fraudulent activity.

We are sure you will appreciate that although we do our best to combat
this problem, the costs of running this site and absorbing the losses from
those that defraud it are considerable. In many instances fraudulent
activity is detected after the event (i.e. the credits have been withdrawn
from our system by a Service Provider) .

In such cases our losses are severe as not only have we paid out to a
Service Provider but we also by then had to repay the credit card company.
Therefore if we catch someone in the act of using stolen credit cards to
purchase credits on this Site and spend them with others, we won’t allow
them to be withdrawn if we are in a position to be able reclaim them.

Unfortunately the sessions you had with this member is such a case in
point. The credits have been returned and the stolen card used to
purchase them refunded.

If, as we believe, you are an innocent party then we can only apologise
for your misfortune. However unfortunate though it may be, the fact
remains that we will not knowingly pay out on stolen credit cards if we
catch the person doing it. If we were to then it would only compound the
problem of fraud and send a message to those that wish to defraud us that
they could collude with members such as yourself in order to launder and
still receive stolen funds whether they were detected or not.

We are sorry that you have fallen victim to internet fraud and we do
everything in our power to catch fraudsters as soon as we can as as not to
cause disappointment to members like yourself. It’s unfortunate in this
instance that we didn’t catch him until after your sessions had taken
place.

He should be named & shamed, I nearly had a heart attack as I had someone with a similar alias to the one you put, i.e., beginning with the same letter and ending with the same number, however mine was not a booking, but DC. I checked and he had quite a lot of feedback and it was good plus I'd done a previous DC with him, which went through successfully as did the last one. *phew*

In the past I've had that email re the 'manual escrow' thing.. had it twice (2 diff aliases..tho of course could be the same person!)... but not had one for a while (hope I don't get it again!) --- the 1st one was for a big amount, the 2nd not soo much as I recall.... thing is.. the 1st user (big amount)... his IP came up as Germany.. so I blocked ALL Germany! lol.. sounds silly I know.. esp as a lot of them use proxy servers and aren't necessarily in the country that IP comes up as......... but I didnt want to take any chances, plus I didn't have that many coming in from Germany anyway!

Also --- another thing -- I think its a shame AW don't allow Webcammers to see the notes thing... don't want to say too much.. (& get a ticking off lol).... but you girlies should know what I mean.. I've just had a similar thing. Someone came in my room via direct cam the early hours of Monday morning and then I noticed at lunchtime my account had less money in it. I checked my credit statement and the amount for that cam session has been removed as a 'manual escrow'. As I didn't understand what this was I contacted AW and got the same reply that Sexxy-Claudia has posted above. I still don't properly understand it and don't get why I should be out of pocket. Should I just write this off as lost money, although I'd rather not do as that days money was all earmarked for a bill and now I'm short? Has anyone else had this from direct cam?
