HI
The last 2 weeks, ESP transfers have appeared in my bank account immediately, no waiting X business days. Is this now common practice? Also, with transfer to UK bank now active, is there any advantages between transfer to European bank account and UK bank?

Awesome I didnt noticed it was on that is awesome!!!!!!!!!!
If you bank with a uk bank then it is def worth it.
In terms of the trasfer speed that may have something to do with using UK banks, ie if they are using BACS transfers (the same way any employer would pay you) they get processed much quicker. I doubt AW will ever promise such a thing as with any banking its best to be on the safe side.

I didn't see it, that's brilliant. I was waiting for it a long time.

This is good news. Thanks for pointing it out Sandie. I wonder if there will be charges of any kind as opposed to cheques.

Had not noticed the UK option but I am happy with the ESP transfer. I have always had my account crdited the same day as the funds are released using ESP transfer.
I would think it is best to use the UK transfer if you bank in the UK as you will get your money in £'zs and not have any currency exchange loss

I'll give UK bank transfer a go next time but as wife4rent says there shouldn't be any Euro to £ conversion fee and there doesn't seem to be any additional fees now, unlike years ago when AW charged £20 iirc.
Anyway, thanks all, nice friendly forum this.
