I get a lot of calls too from irish guys. I HAVE worked in Belfast and I think companies who are short of profiles simply dont remove my profile when i leave.

I too find the accent hard to follow and I also find irish guys try to barter 99% of the time and 99% of the time can be No Shows/Timewasters. So like yourself Lolo I am loathe to take bookings from them. Sad but true.

When I was touring Belfast with a friend there was a guy that used to call her all the time, who lived in Dublin. Without telling her where he was located, he offered to pick us up from the airport in Belfasts and take us to our apartment. She was also talking about meeting clients as a couple with him. I had met him briefly and didn't like him. Namely due to him being smelly and when asked to shower, he came out smelling just as bad and it made me want to heave.

When the time came to travel, he phoned her up the night before we set off and asked her if he was ok to stay with us. She was puzzled and said that he couldn't as we were workng and clients would not be too happy with a man around. He then backed off and said that it was not worth his while picking us up if he could not stay with us during our entire tour!!!

It transpired that we could get a bus for £3.50 and the taxi was only £10. Talk about trying it on!!!
