I cam almost every day - in the afternoon at the same times, so my regs know when I'm online. I've stopped using the free chat facility because I got sick of all the freeloaders, but I'm generally very busy. I do use free chat if it's quiet, as that can help to drum up some business. I might use free once a week at the most as it can help to find new clients. But I'm enjoying a steady stream of clients - despite the fact that my services are BDSM and I don't get naked.

I think the trick here, is to log on regularly and at regular times, so your clients know when you are likely to be online. Also, when I log on, I update my profile and state what time I'm available until - that usually works. And I always have twitter open, so I'm constantly marketing both my website and my aw profile, in between clients.

In my experience, Tuesday and Wednesdays are generally pants for clients - Monday's are busy and from Friday to all over the weekend, I'm super busy! I don't work at night, although I'm aiming to work late at least one night a week, from next month! x

Hi people I find january is a dead month, it is for me as i find my regulars are skint from xmas, i find my days vary sometimes i'm busy other times i'm just dead, i find sundays can be a real good earner....anyway i log on when i can and if i make some extra cash great,, i aint too worried as those sheepies will be keeping me busy and in the money soon....I find if i aint on cam much when i am the guys try and grab me....

I use sound and phone chat whenever I can. I sometimes use sound in group and pvt, sometimes just in pvt. I find that either method can work depending on your luck that day. Some days I know I get more private custies due to no sound in group; other days I might get more in general if I have sound in both.

When I first started I was scared to use sound and phone, but I love it now. I find that having quite a posh accent is very useful, and attracts a lot of guys. However, I don't use sound when my bf is around. I just don't fell comfortable screaming my head of on cam/phone when he can hear. I find I am busier when I can use sound, but not always, and the reaction is mixed. I think some guys might actually have a preference for a silent show believe it or not, esp if they have to keep quiet! Other guys don't express a preference. Some people prefer a show with sound, but will still settle for one without. Unfortunately, some guys who I've cammed for with sound on will then expect it every time. I do always update my profile header if sound and phone are available, but as well all know, there are only a few who read it .

I've come to the conclusion that the factor of luck seems to dominate everything. True, if you regularly update your profile, advertise, and give amazing shows etc, you are more likely to do well. But sometimes nit is a simple matter of being on at the right time, which is never entirely predictable.

IM is instant messenger. You offer it through justcamit, the same as normal direct cam (video chat). The different is that IM is text only, with no video feed or sound. So you charge a lower price to reflect that. IM is very slow unless you have build up regulars from camming/ phone who may pop in to see you now and then. It's worth having on however if you're home and unable to cam.

Regarding groups i.m.o there are only 2 groups worth considering - Adultwork's finest performers aka the daily pay group, and KinkyDirtyBitch's Porn Central. Daily Pay because as the name suggests.. you get paid daily instead of weekly, avoid chargebacks, and gain the chance to earn more through the extra advertising/ featuring that the group does on your behalf. And KDB's because she is a camming megastar and your business has a good chance of increasing purely through being associated with her.

Having said that, I don't think ANY girl NEEDS to join a group. And if her primary aim is to increase business or earn more, then she should work on other things independently first and build up her popularity and experience before being fully equipped to make the decision about joining a group x
