It` s easily done all you do is edit your profile and up you go top of page, but alas you wont stay there long while shes logged on.

I can genuinely see girls editing there profiles I do it once a day when I log on to work as I charge a different price for my night shift to days when I'm doing cam, but she is getting beyond a joke Iv watched her this afternoon . I know I should report but hey ho I shall leave her to it for now cos sure as shit someone else will report her

I wouldn't want to report her , as its hard to prove or not.

No, it's easy... they can tell.

Bot's leave traces which are easy to pick up.

If you report her they will look at the usage history and can very quickly see whether the updates are being done manually or automatically.

Personally I think it is worth bringing it to AWs attention because if she is getting away with it, sure as shit someone else will think "well, if she's doing it, then I will do it" and before you know it, anyone who doesn't have a bot will never make the first three pages of results, let alone the top slot.

I update mine four or five times a day to try to keep it in the top half of the first page, but there are some girls who do just seem to be updating constantly.

That does not seem that often, I update my profile every 15-20 minutes or after each client. I am always showing as "Available Today" when I am working.

When I am not working I only do it 3-4 times a day to check for emails.

There are only a little under 100 of us in the South East, and of those only a couple of dozen who are actively working.

No, but like I said, if they look then they can tell whether it is being done manually or automatically.

If every time you update your profile you only ever make second place, or are back in second place thirty seconds later, and it's always the same girl on top, then chances are she is using a bot.... but if she's not using one and just has her boyfriend continually updating it for her while she's working, then AW will just mail you and say that she is fine as far as they are concerned.

That sounds very reasonable of AW considering other posts which talk of imediate bans / blocks for being reported as a fake, even when girls are not

I think they are generally reasonable. And most of the time I think they do listen... even if you do have to be a bit persistent to get your point beyond first line support and get it in front of someone who can deal with it.

I do have a bee in my bonnet about the sudden shut downs of profiles because it has happened to me.

I think they have a very difficult job to do in trying to weed out all the profiles which are only there to earn of PGs but claim to be offering escort services, and it is just easier to deactivate on the presumption that if the girl is genuine then she will make contact and they can deal with it retrospectively... without consideration for the fact that they are effectively cutting off a girls livelyhood - even if only for a day or two.

But I think that most astute guys can spot the difference between a girl who is escorting and one who probably is not, and I just think AW ought to be a bit more analytical about making the decision to de-activate... a point they have, to a certain degree, conceded in the Q&A Answers thread.

Well a certain "Miss" on DirectIM-Cam/Directchat needs to be informed of this because if shes not using a bot which I doubt, she must update her profile every time someone logs on above her.. It`s hard enough as it is so lets keep it an even playing field

Also I'm not sure what you mean by getting near the top if you Update. Am I right in assuming you mean she is near the top (or at the top) AFTER those who pay to be in the 'Featured' slots? (so you have to click on the 'Featured' tab to see those who updated the most recent? - again *unsure* ).

TBH I never think of looking at those things let alone notice who seems to be permanently near the top - maybe I should tho... as nothing wrong being vigilant!

yeah i am not understanding it all either...........sometimes i am paying £15 plus a day on featuring directcam, i thought thats how you got to the top of the page.

Can you get to the top of directcam by editing your profile manually then?

If thats the case i have lost out on a lot over the year by paying each hour i am on in directcam with the featuring option

Don't know whether cam is different, but for escorting it depends how the guy searches... basically though, the featured girls appear in the list first, then the ones who are down as "local escort" and then everyone else.

But within that, you can affect where you are in the list by updating your profile.

You just need to make a change, no mater how small, then re-save your profile. You can't just re-save it without making a change... that doesn't work... you do actually have to update it in some way.

The most recently updated profile appears at the top of the list.

So there may be a hundred featured girls, all of whom will appear before the others, but by updating your profile you can get top the top of the featured girls.

Some types of search don't depend on featuring, so the most recently updated will always be at the top no matter whether they are featured or not.

On the "Local Escort" search, being featured or marked as "local" for that day means your profile is displayed on the main page for that region and guys actually have to press a button to see everyone else.

Also, featuring gets you onto the "featured escorts" page, which guys seem to make great use of.

Personally, I have found that it is best to use a combination of these things rather than one or the other. I am featured every day, but I also update my profile regularly throughout the day to ensure that I am always at or near the top of the list no matter how a guy searches.

Uploading new photos will also give your profile more prominence. When I have a shoot done, I just upload a few photo's each day rather than doing them all at once.
