It just makes me angry that's all. That they haven't got bigger fish to fry. Spying on people on the web. Checking peoples knicker consumables etc.

Yes...I'm not very impressed with the proposed internet spying law either, and in the meantime bigger fish get let off. They go after the easiest catches, especially with the cut backs in the public service sector.

Yes, I've heard of HMRC doing things like that. The banks certainly look at how accounts are managed too.

yes as an ex Bank employee for sure accounts automatically flag up for check. Lots of cash deposits in a non business account for example will flag up automatically to be checked (not for tax purposes more crime)

That would still be a traceable source and plenty pay straight into bank accounts.

Escorts can completely hide there identity and accept cash only.

It's traceable in theory for payment to pre-paid cards...but I doubt AW, paytoo or payoneer would give the information voluntarily and they are outside UK jurisdiction.

Having been on the sticky end of a tax investigation when I was a stripper was one of the most stressful experiences I have ever endured! Even though I was paying all my taxes with the assistance of an accountant it was an arduous task having to keep going in to go through petty details such as literally PENNIES of interest on a bank statement.

Being in a cash industry has its down sides, the interest (no pun intended!) to HMRC is vastly increased.

These days I prefer to be paid by cheque & through my bank account & offer full transparency of my incomings & monetary dealings. That's all we can do and if we do we have little to fear.
