The problem with accepting credit cards in the Escort industry is chargebacks. Whilst it would be nice to be able to accept credit cards, there will always be unscrupulous clients who will try to get a booking for free by initiating chargebacks on a payment.

I fully agree Annalise, but with a full CardHolder Present Chip and Pin transaction, the liability for a chargeback passes from you as the merchant to the cardholder's issuing bank therefore there is virtually zero exposure to chargeback risk for the Escorts themselves. I guess it would be very difficult for a cardholder to say he wasn't there at the point of sale if he has inputted his personal PIN number into a handheld POS terminal.
