I'm with Kate as well, in addition it may give visitors the incentive to join.

I agree with Kate, there should be section that people can see, but adult discussions should be private or hidden away from guests.

Do you have to register to view content? or can you look in the forum as a guest?

4 people feel it should stay the same. Could they please explain why?

Whilst I do not mind the forum being open for others to see
The moral side of me thinks it should be for members only and if anyone wants to see the content they should join
So just for a change i went with the caring side of my nature and definately think the forum should be for registered members I think it is safer that way

This thread has got me thinking, but really I am struggling to find any content on the public viewable forums that could be considered explicit or even pornographic for that matter, perhaps rated PG at the most, unless I am missing something, which is possible due to the fact I rarely visit the forum, as the moderators do such an excellent job.

All forums that contain pornographic content and advertise adult services are private, I feel many are singling out the forum and over looking the fact that many of their own websites, adult profiles and even social media accounts contain pornographic and even explicit content are all publicly viewable and of far greater exposure to minors.

Perhaps it's the naming of the "Adult Discussions" forum, maybe renaming it and merging it with the general discussion and introductions forum will solve the perception that it contains inappropriate content.

Thank you for everyones input so far.

I will continue to look for a solution.

Can I please ask you to put a restriction on banners used in signatures please? Louise_Lloyds is very graphic and is accessible by anybody who wishes to come on here.

If it is to stay open then there needs to be a sticky to let newbies know, so they can self sensor. They may decide somethings are best not said when they know anyone can view the information. It will also make people think twice about the avs they use. What you may not realise is a lot of us are now self sensoring and using other areas to talk, which means that other members are missing out on topics that otherwise would be shared with everyone.

Personally I don't know any Escort on here who had her own website that does not give out an 'Adult content warning' on entering and advice they should be over 18. Even my blog does this!

Discretion is very important in this business and this is not possible with an open forum. I'm also talking as a Mother, who would not have liked my child to stumble across this site and be able to read conversations that are in some cases very 'adult'.

Another question. With the restrictions as they are. Would the software in schools interpret it as adult content, or would the children be able to gain access to it? I do understand your situation is not easy, but some compromises are a compromise too much.

In general terms i agree with you re the content of threads Admin. But there were a few photo threads a few months ago that would have been regared as pornographic. So there does need to be some care with this.

Also, just because there is nothing pornographic now, doesn't mean there won't be in future.
