Fenwicks is a Department store - they have a few of them around the country. A bit like John Lewis or Selfridges. x

I know what you mean about there perfume dept a tad over powering to say the least.

Have you ever got lost in there I used to on a regular basis would wander round forever trying to get back into eldon square

Lol Freddo, it always makes me chuckle when someone tells me off for referring to RTW just as Tunbridge Wells - they are such snobs and get really annoyed if it is left off. Can remember at a Forum where I did a presentation being heckled by a couple fo people by not mentioning the Royal bit! Bloody daft I can tell you.

I had been away for a long time, and when I went back I thought everyone was speaking in a 'frightfully, frightfully' nice way. Much posher than when I lived there! Someone said it was because of the monied elite moving into the town.

I haven't managed to get lost yet - but I generally have a target in mind, head straight for it and straight out again. Normally the food hall, I must admit!
