Studio Groups Taking Advantage of Girls

Unless I'm missing something, a contract from some shady get up means absolutely nothing. Group Managers have as much control over your profile as you DID when you were indie & AW make that very clear that you really need to be careful who you sign your 'life' over to.

KDB is right in what she is saying, the "contract" will probably never be used in any court for either party, the bigger problem is the control that somebody has over your Adultwork profile.

This information isnt true. A few pieces of mis-information have been posted in this thread, I dont have the time to correct each one unfortunately.

Always remember not to believe everything you read.




If the group manager created your profile then its their profile and they have control over it (not you).

If you transfer into a group then you still have ultimate control. They only control the credits and even then if a situation arose this can be sorted.

They may have the option to edit, chop and change a profile but they would also have no reason to. Any changes made can just be reverted back to normal.

The group manager of an existing profile has virtually no real control over the account.

All situations can be fixed with a quick and easy ticket to Adultwork.

Group managers are not in control, you are. (Providing the profile was setup by you).


If anyone has a hypothetical situation they want a solution for you can post or pm it and I will reply with the solution.

The girls who are in with the dodgy groups are members of this forum & will hopefully come & let us know of their experience of what the real facts are.

Not all situations are fixed with a quick ticket otherwise these girls would be flying solo instead of stuck in a group which refuses to let them leave.

I can see I have done as much as I can here.

You've done fantastically honey... you really didn't need to do anything at all, and helping a girl out like this is really good of you. I'm sure she appreciates it, and with a bit of luck, some of those other girls in that group will be inspired to get out and stop being ripped off too.

You can delete them but they can instantly re-activate them, leaving ultimate power in their hands. We as group managers dont really have any power at all, we just manage.

If you delete someones profile wrongfully and they complain to AW, it wont be long before AW come asking questions, thats a massive risk to any group manager for future relations with AW.

There is 0 things we as group managers can do to a profile that cannot be undone fairly easily.

If this is not a real fact I urge someone to name just 1 thing that contradicts it.

Quick ticket works if the account is an original one set up by the member only. Otherwise it becomes slightly more complex, but the solution is out there.

Fortunately, thanks to your efforts a solution to for any members of this group has been found.

Page 2 has "I have fran in my group with a new profile;" and a few other posts that give an impression she was out of the group and in porn central? May have mis-read that but reads as if she is working solo now.
