Looking for further views on how best to separate real profiles from fake ones. After several years using AW I believe I can recognize all the tricks, but I welcome some input from other users.
In general I tend to discard offers that look too good to be true, or where pictures are even slightly suspicious. Overall, I tend to discount profiles that:
- Have only private galleries
- Have few pics and a high priced private gallery
- Have all services ticked
- Have four or fives services ticked
- Hide feedback
- Are written in third-person
- Have no last login date
- Where language is not aligned with profile (age, nationality, etc).
I then I tend to hot list and follow up only on profiles that begin to develop reviews. Any more ideas?
Alas, I am certain the process happens on the providers' side as well
That said, AW has gotten better in spotting fake profiles and getting rid of them. And the verified member feature is one of the best to date.
