The payment was rejected because Adultwork and The Payment Processor made an error. A very basic error!!!
It is unbelievable that they could actually do something so wrong. THIS IS VERY BASIC STUFF AND SOMEBODYT AT ADULTWORK SHOULD KNOW THIS>>>

This is how it works.....

Remember that Adultwork is working with a new processor and a new bank.

Adultwork create a payment file. That file contains thousands of small individual payments and small group payments.
It also contains 1 or more much larger Daily Pay payments.

The Processor submits the file to the bank. The banking software automatically rejects the DP payment.
WHY???? Because it is outwith the parameters of the normality for that file. It is immediately flagged up by the banking software as either an error of suspicious!!!!

What SHOULD have happened is that the DP file should be a separate file. This would require double authorisation manually and there would not have been this delay.

I find it absolutely astounding that Adultwork and their Payment Processor were not aware of this very, very, very basic Industry standard procedure.

As a result Dailypay is without funds, and the excellent business model that Colin has built up over 10 years of hard graft has a problem. The forum is littered with accusations, people are screaming for their money, and the situation could potentially look like a car crash.

The fault sits jointly with both Adultwork and The Payment Processor.

Unless Adultwork insist the Payment Processor Runs a separate file this situation will continue.
Well im leaving the group then...dp should be telling us this......

Tara25,

Hunni, Dailypay are the VICTIM...... They are not the problem.

Adultwork must and will sort this out.

Can't you see, you are far better off with Dailypay.......Just sit tight for a little while more and it will all be resolved.
And you'll be glad you stayed.

I'm staying. xxxxx

Was going to write something similar myself so thank you for saving my head the effort hehe
I see this issue often and normally it doesn't take too long (with a lot of pain in between) for the admin users to realise what the issue is and either set the parameters higher for those payees, or like you said send a separate file
I'm sure Colin will be all over it with AW and hopefully it wont happen again but I don't think we are out of the woods yet and I'm sure there will be a few more teething issues.
I'm surprised such a basic error was allowed to happen, and the knock on effect must be very stressful for DP, as it is for the girls too. I think the issue Tara raised earlier, is more to do with the lack of information available to us and how it is obtained. I can't wait for it all to be over, not so much for the financial side to settle (although it would be welcomed!) but because it's such a stress point for everyone. Not knowing full facts from day to day is what has turned this from an annoyance to a potential car crash.

It is very frustrating and stressful for some but I think for now we all need to accept that there is the potential for delays and try to prepare for them
If we didn't have DP then you have to wait up to 3 weeks for AW to pay you, with DP we might be having up to a week delay (ok I know it was more then this a couple of weeks back) but we are still going to be paid a lot quicker then we would have been with AW.
When I done my POR on Monday I was prepared for this not to be paid until the weekend - anything before that is a bonus for me.
xx
How long do we think it would take for AW to send the payment again? Weeks or days I wonder!

No, I agree with the financial side, and luckily I was prepared for this, I said so at the beginning of the week it was highly likely. So I'm not too fused with that at all.

What is confusing is that daily pay girls were paid yesterday but not POR or weekly. Then today girls who requested days after myself have been paid. I just don't understand the process at the moment or how the payout system is working. Plus if it wasn't for Caroline, we would know nothing at all. Like I said earlier it's been the struggle to get straight answers that I think is testing peoples patience, we all knew the money was going to be delayed way before it was a definite and hopefully, most of us prepared for it.
