how do i join a group

ive just discovered the groups section of the website, and their are loads.

cant decide which to join, but their are no "join buttons" or anything like that.

any help?

You don't "need" to join a group. The majority of the groups you see on those pages (excluding those set up by groups of friends for mutual benefit), are fraudsters looking to prey off your income and naeivity. They will take a weekly/ monthly/ daily payment or % from you and offer you nothing in return though they may promise to "help" you by managing your profile, advertising you, giving advice.. all of which you can do yourself without paying a penny. They may even disable your ability to edit or access your own profile and emails, and prevent you from leaving the group or setting up again independently.

The only groups worth considering at all (and this is only after careful consideration of what you wish to gain from it), are adultwork's finest performers a.k.a daily pay (because you get paid daily, avoid chargebacks, and benefit from additional advertising/ featuring), which is run by the administrators of this forum, and kinkydirtybitch's Porn Central (because she is famous), which is operated by a well known porn star. Both group admins are on this board and easily contactable, or if you need to know any more feel free to pm me x

Then Katie has already answered your question...you need to think long and hard before joining a group. Groups are known for taking a percentage of your income and doing nothing for it in return, while having greater control over your profile and money than you do.

If you don't want to join Daily Pay, the only other one is to join is Porn Central, there is no button but if you read their page (they're on the front page of AW today) you will see that you need to email the group admin.

Read the description carefully, to see if the group is suitable for you.

I'm a member of porn central, and love it. You pay 20 credits a month, and in return the group is featured daily, and is group of the day whenever possible. New members get extra exposure, with mentions on the group home page, twitter, and often Kinkydirtybitch's blog too. I do believe that morn discerning customers will often use girls from the same group, and the fact that porn central is run by a gorgeous and famous porn star certainly helps!

Always check what deal is being done when you work for somebody else and try and make sure that you are not tied into any contracts that make it awkward to get out of.

I have no affiliation with either of the groups mentioned and prefer to be in control of my own business but as has been said above, your income can be increased by being part of a well run group and worth paying the management fees.

You don't have to explain your choices Emily but do read up about Daily Pay and Porn Central so that you can make an informed decision. I think I'm right in saying that pay can be weekly with Daily Pay, if that is an issue.

Dailypay has a selector option, pay can be changed to Daily, Weekly on any day or when a certain limit is reached.

Hi,

I am also a recent member of the group Porn Central and to mimic what Heidi has said it is the best group to be in, if you do decide to join one.

Since joining, my profile has had great exposure and so many more profile hits than it ever did whilst working on my own.

The manager is great and is always there for support on anything you need. She gives you amazing exposure on the site. The 20credits you spend each month goes straight back into promoting the group on the front page of adultwork, you aren't bound to any contract and can leave if you ever wanted to.

I would definitely recommend porn central, if you did decide on joining a group.
