Does this Direct Chat thing actully work. I mean I have phoned it about 12 times now on one girl, and it just hangs up. Or it says the number is busy. On this profile.

It has worked once or twice with very good operators.

It also has this way of making the Adultworker look like shes not interested in doing business.

The only reason for using it is that you don't have to go through the booking process.
But AWs can still leave feedback.


I have noticed it never works with some adultwork providers. Very frustrating to use.

Theres some unknown issues with it. I and Adultwork tested it with no problems, apart from members having their mobile off, low reception etc when they say they are online.

If your able to get through to other members then the problem doesnt lay with your side generally.

I think if providers have no intension of utililising DC they should make sure that the green 'Direct Chat' light is off.
I would imagine that it is a user setting or something.

No it's such a pain. I've complained over and over that guys cannot get through to me, but as it works maybe 4 times out of 10, aw refuse to acknowlege there is an issue. It's been patchy for over a year now

The profile has been active for less than a fortnight and not every person who has a call/cam or IM session leaves feedback. It could be that she's still got 'first call' nerves. Some folk take to it like a duck to water - some need time to get used to dealing with the sound of folk wanking and grunting down the line and others have all the best intentions of taking a call but keep bottling it.

If it is a weird system fault then she can't be blamed, but give her time to find her feet either way - she's new. It's not the kind of thing careers day at school prepares you for.

If she is new it will take time to get some feedback. Especially now you need a minimum of 5 mn talktime (??).
I used to have problems with guys not being able to call me although I was logged on, but I haven't had that luckily for a long time.

I agree it could be 'first call 'nerves. Nobody prepares you for the call your getting. Have you tried to email her and tell her what call your lloking for and if she was happy to take the call ?

go to my details > edit profile > profile details > phone chat > set your rates & options there. You can offer directchat where the guy just calls whenever you are logged in as available and pays per min, or prebooked where he books a set time, for a set amount of minutes and pays up front. You can call him with your phone or skype.
