You gave them the money so its no criminal. It would be a small claims matter.

I would be vary of anyone asking for deposits for "standard bookings". Unless the bookings are unusual (in length or value) then there is no need for deposits.

I see why some girls might ask for it but as you see here there are risks on both sides.

Say you did pay and wanted to pursue it further that would mean small claims court, is that the way to go do your research and you WILL find a genuine girl that DOES NOT ask for deposits

After having fingers burnt doing outcalls I always demand a deposit, as well as for those who have cancelled (small amount) /no shows (full amount!)
