Nick, I think somewhere in your user control panel you will find a setting that controls the time for you, I'm a couple of hours ahead of the UK and remember changing mine when I joined.

Like everything else, now I'm specifically looking for it I can't find it but may be one of the mods can point you to it a little better.

The time comes up wrong on mine too, so if you know how to change it I would appreciate it. Nope I didn't use it while you were with me Nick, although I may have drugged you and then made you listen to a tape that hypnotised you into thinking you had the best time ever with me and that you should shout it on the boards until everyone starts to puke with it all lol.

Sorry it's just my warped sense of humour. I'm not good with compliments, I prefer someone else to get them. Although the odd compliment now and again is nice, but not too much. Do I sound totally mad now?

How disappointing! Actually it turns out it was my fault, I hadn't twigged that it was after midnight when I posted the message.

Compliments are a funny thing, I think we all want them, and yet when we get them, we're embarrassed by them - anyone got any ideas why that is?

I must say I think that's preferable to the happy clappy ways of the USA.

In my company if ever anyone gets an email of appreciation from a client it gets circulated around for everyone to chip in and say well done, which I find quite nauseating. Come to think of it Kate, that is the picture I should have retained in my head 24 hours ago, so I see your point.

I wonder if there is a drug available to speed up my braincell, a sort of Viagra for the brain. Anyone know of any good concoctions?

Getting back on track, my best buy of the year was my iMac due to the sheer quantity & quality of the bundled software that comes as standard not to mention the media friendly modus operandi!
