Sarah, at least you are comfortable with each other - if that's a good thing! You would miss his sloppy, irritating ways if he wasn't there! And he must have something going for him.... it's not as if escorts don't get enough offers to be whisked away - I'm sure you would have ditched him a loooonnnnnggg time ago if you didn't love the cotton socks off him!
That about sums it up Ann, we have many friends that think it odd the amount I do for him but then in return he does a lot for me, I often think that other people have strange relationships, compared to ours. Relationships are all about what works for you.
When I am away, he is exactly the same, but he will do the washing up himself when he runs out of things or before I get home.

How I deal with mine:
He gets two warnings to pick up/do/tidy something, and on the third warning, I walk in with a bin liner. Sometimes I do it in two warnings to make him realise I'm not pissing about. When I get the whining, I simply say "don't make a mess and it won't be a problem."

He still has a lot to learn there Sarah - if he had got it right, not only would the above have happened, but he should have managed to use the loo roll and leave the cardboard roll on the holder but no replacement provided, the seat should be left up on the loo, oh and of course the bathroom should have been left flooded.
Not only should the clothes have been left laying around the house, he should have tried on half a dozen tee shirts and left the discarded ones on the bed, left the drawers open and even the wardrobe doors swinging.
All the lights in the house should have been left on, oh and probably the TV on and no-one in the room.
My 15 year old son manages all of that when he comes to stay so yes, your OH has a lot to learn yet

We have a stacked toilet roll system so no help there
Toilet seat is always up....
Does anybody ever have a dry bathroom? I would love to see how that works
Clothes are only any good if they suit...
I think all the electric light switches have been taped over
Anything electrical is always switched on.
I have no doubt about him being 15 ..... Once or many times since

My son puts the loo seat down He does leave a trail of wet behind him when he has had a shower He never washes up after himself when he cooks or makes something. He doesn't know how to stack the dishwasher He will wash 2 or 3 items in the washing machine and dry them all in one go, costing me a fortune!!!! He leaves lights on He does remember to turn the power off in his shed when he leaves it (the power point is in the kitchen). He recently started offering to make me cups of tea He doesn't swear in front of me He started to let me hug him again after what seems like a life time of not letting me We started telling each other that we love each other again I think gradually I'm starting to get my son back and he is coming out the other end of puberty
