Does Our Age Difference Really Matter?

Remember back in school, youre like 15 and if you were seen with or known to fancy someone 1 or 2 years below/above then they were too young or ancient, lol.

When i was 20-21, i had loads of girls as young as 15 probably 14 wanting to go out with me or be friends, yet some of their friends said im way too old for their friend. Made me feel like a grandad when i was 20-21! So i got tinted windows fitted to my car, back seat fun - sorted.

Now im finding as im getting older, the age gaps are getting bigger though no lower than 18/19. I always seem to get on much better with younger women than older. Yet age never seems to be a problem anymore, almost everyone i know seems to view... for example, a 20y/o seeing a 30y/o as good going - well done! for the older person.

But, a 26y/o seeing a 45y/o is quite a big gap. I suppose in a few decades itll be considered normal by most people.
I used to know a girl who was 20 and had a 45y/o fuck buddy.
Big age gaps are everywhere.

My wife is 23 and I am 57. We have been together for 8 years, married for 6, and never been happier. People ask what my wife's parents think, but seeing that her mother is 46 and her step father is 67, what can they say. Plus it doesn't stop her mother trying to bed me for the last eight years. ;}

The problems come when the older partner becomes a geriatric. My mother-in-law is 79 and she was living with a man 20 years her junior. When she started getting dementia, due to Alzheimers he couldn't dump her fast enough, usually at remote railway stations like Newcastle-upon-Tyne, when she lived in Essex!
