We noticed a couple of months back sales starting to slow... but November was horrendous... like a drop of over 50%... makes me wonder what's happened...

Yes of course it could be the Christmas slow down... but if I was guessing, I'd say there is something else behind it... I keep my records of years gone by, and nothing like this as happened to such a level...

Not sure how many more people on here are into selling content ect... Think it's time to email AW and ask the question... not good Angry

I have to say, I've had issues with AW since around June. I Escort and cam and both have dwindled down to nothing. I've even dropped my prices quite dramatically and still nothing.  I've been paranoid that it's just me. AW has been my source of income for a long time, but now I'm lucky if I get one client a week. I've been on AW for years on and off and I've never seen it like this. After reading comments here and elsewhere, I'm convinced it's a site problem. I mean, where does AW advertise? It doesn't even appear at the top of Google searches.

Charlotte, do you have movie content to sell on aw?

Hey Imogen... we tried Clips4Sale but didn't make great sales from it, I think our stuff is a little too Vanilla to be honest, I hear the more niche/fetish stuff sells better on there... We've also tried some other sites, ManyVids and YouKandy for example, but none of them can hold a light to Adult Work... But the bottom seems to have dropped out of AW, maybe it's a combination of things, but to go from nearly £5k to under £2k in the space of 3 months, and with December looking like the worse one yet, I am not sure what we'll end up doing...

We have tried out some of the ad spots on AW, but to be frank haven't seen any major increase in traffic or sales... What we are focused on at the moment is actually creating our own traffic hub, to drive traffic through our various revenue streams... we have this planned for early 2018, we will chuck as much money at it as we can... just hope we're not chucking good money after bad...

Adult Work have told us they can't explain the drop in our earnings, and as a site overall they do not see any big decrease in revenue... so I guess they deem it as what isn't fixed doesn't need fixing... but this does seem to be quite the topic right now, and it's just not us feeling it... yet some tell me they are still earning the same (if not more) than they were in August... just doesn't make sure how some people seem to have lost 50-60% of their revenues... Nothings changed, it's not like we lost 1 or 2 of our big girls... if anything we're putting more effort in since things started to decrease...

Usually when sales and turnover start dropping the conversation tends to turn to diversifying and refreshing what's being put out for the clients to buy. Not intending to sound any way rude, could it be that your AW client base have seen all the vanilla content you've put out an either need new/varied content to bring them back? If you have a website could be worth sending out a mass email and looking for their input.

I still put the drop in income down to the last big update they did to the mobile app back in the summer.

1. Main page of the app is now full of eye candy, guys see that so they have no need to dig about looking for other service providers, think like a punter and check it for yourself.
2. Home page desktop site features doesn't get you promoted on the app
3. Escort/Phone/Webcam/Alt/SMS section daily feature doesn't get you promoted on the app
4. Hourly phone features doesn't get you promoted on the app

If 50% of site traffic is now on the app and gets distracted by the 1st page eye candy the guys will spend their credits there, site income will be the same so AW can say there's not been any drop in income.

I've got the added bonus of being one of AW's TS girls and we're being excluded from a lot of the app site too, a nice thank you from them for paying 7 days a week for features!

I don't agree (totally)... There are new surfers every day, and new members on AW who have not seen our content before... I am still to this day making content off stuff I shot in 2001, would that be possible if that argument was true ? Also the idea of a clip site, certainly Adult Work, is that because the "customer" cant download the content (even though there are some cheats I am sure) if he likes a particular clip, he pays for it and views it, and if he wants to view it again he has to pay again... and again...

Also we did shoot a load of new content recently... including our most popular girl Peaches aka TeenCockTease

I agree some people may re-visit profiles and see the same old, this is true of a lot of profiles... but not to the tune of a 50-60% drop in that space of time... as I said new visitors/customers should certainly keep revenues around the same mark...

That poses the question is there a drop in traffic, alas we didn't keep stats on traffic to our profiles... so I cant comment if they have massively dropped... AW say they haven't but I would like to see stats, which alas in the AW back end to my knowledge are not available...

December in effect is looking like a complete write off, I can barely motivate myself to do any updates... I would look through some old records to see what past January/February/March looked like in years gone by... but that might just end up de-motivating me even more...

Hi, is it not possible to see traffic to your profiles? Is yours different as you are content? On mine I have a chart where I can see how many hits for each day possibly since I signed up. I think it's where my page views are they us a click button. x
