Content Sales (50%+ Drop) Has Something Happened to AW

Has something catastrophic happened to AW ? I have been on there for years, mainly as a content provider, and we also help several girls with their content too... We noticed a couple of months back sales starting to slow... but November was horrendous... like a drop of over 50%... makes me wonder what's happened...

Yes of course it could be the Christmas slow down... but if I was guessing, I'd say there is something else behind it... I keep my records of years gone by, and nothing like this as happened to such a level...

Not sure how many more people on here are into selling content ect... Think it's time to email AW and ask the question... not good

I"d say no comments because most people are fed up of discussing it sadly. A group of us have been hit with this since June but I do agree since November it has been worse. I made less than what I usually make on a summer month in November and this month looks set to be the same. It's supposedly all related to server issues which don't seem to be getting repaired but I don't know at this point as girls in my local area are clearing fair amounts with ease. Adultwork are refusing to acknowledge it.


I think the majority of us have just given up. Sorry I can't be of more help.

Content has been dropping for some time now, long gone are the days I used to do an occasional freebie in exchange for content with my regular escort clients knowing I'd be at break even in less than a week and have a steady income after that, I'd be worse of doing anything like that now!

I think the mobile app has been the downfall of AW, with app traffic on my own websites being 60% that leaves a huge hole and around the figures my cam/content has fallen on AW. It seems to be the root of the problem with justcamit I have no problem camming with guys using their pc/laptops but phone/tablets is a waste of time. Content wise I've had calls/texts from people saying they've lost credits on movies that won't play, doesn't need that to happen too often before the guys stop trying to view on aw.

Hey Clara... Thanks for your input, and even though I am sorry to hear your earnings have also dropped, at least I know it's not just me... I thought it might be some sort of processing issue with the credit cards, as in people looking for services not being able to load their wallets... not really sure how a "server" issue would cause a massive reduction in sales... I wish I had recorded the level of traffic the various profiles we run had coming through them and if that has massively dropped... which is usually the case, lose traffic lose sales...

I know how hard it is to have any kind of dialogue with AW... They don't really do customer relations... I'm going to reach out to them on Monday and see if I can get any kind of input from them... but if things carry on the way they are, it's hard to justify the time and effort we're putting in

We had two profiles we helped girls with content wise that made some really nice sales... We then had a bunch that would tick along, I been keeping sales figures for them for the last 3-4 years, and yes some months are up, and some are down... but not like the drop now... Honestly since September/October the drop as been crazy... not a steady decline, I mean a 50-60% drop...

I don't see the app being a issue, if anything making a site responsive and having a app will add sales, not take them away... Even though I don't think that many guys would Cam on a phone/tablet (I didn't even know that was possible)

I really don't know what the problem is, and doubt I will get an answer from AW... I guess all we can hope, is that what ever is causing the issue is resolved and things get back to some sort of normality...

By server issues I was talking mainly as a cam provider, I offer very little content really so I can't comment on the sales that side of things. As for camming on a phone it's a pretty big income for a lot of us, at least 40% of my clients will be on the phone. At work, in bed, being sneaky etc. Don't think I've ever had one on an ipad though. 

As far as improvements go there was supposedly a new software promised by JCI due to be rolled out the end of this year but information or mention of that going ahead remains to be seen.

Hmmm... I really don't know then... I can only really talk from the Content Sales side, and that's dropped by 50-60%... which is massive, and if cams have dropped too, for me that would suggest a billing issue... but as we all keep saying, who know's AW won't admit anything like that for sure... Let's hope it get's fixed as AW as been a good source of income for us for a long time now... but at the current rate it's putting things in a dyer situation...

Very interesting, I have found webcam to be very busy for me the past couple of weeks. This week has so far been steady not busy enough and last week was diabolical! Maybe it was something to do with Black Friday? that did bother my income a bit when that happened the whole week went slow because of that day!

No it's been going on way too long to be connected to BF. 

Some girls aren't effected and are earning okay. It's not everyone.
