Advice required - potential no show coming up

@Guest - She / he has every reason to keep communications going, if it is a scam, as she may be stringing along several other guys to take as many as they could get away with.

Thought I'd give a little input.

I usually take a 10% deposit as it weeds out those who are not serious.
They have my city from when they book.
When they confirm they are in the area, within an hour before, I give them the street.
Once they are there, I usually pop out and guide them back to mine so as not to give them my street number.

We have to put our safety first.

Obviously it's not as rare as I thought given some of the previous replies, but I think asking for a deposit for an in-call is quite frankly strange, and I am smelling a huge rat! (I can understand more for an out-call re. the travel costs and time.) Hope I'm wrong, but...

I've never paid a deposit and never would unless the SP had a very solid reputation such as some of those who have contributed to this thread, the fact that they also belong to forums would be a plus point too, but Lanilor what ever possessed you to pay a deposit to someone like this, a newly created profile with zero feedback...........NEVER LET YOUR COCK DO THE THINKING. I honestly hope Friday works out but I'm afraid the bereavement story is just BS, please come back and prove me wrong.

I started taking deposits towards the end of my time providing permanent incalls, and it was so successful I carried it on. I was however in a position where I had plenty of reliable clients, who I'd seen many times before who wanted to come see me before I moved to outcall only. My experience of new clients has always been that 50% will cancel, no show or start messing around, and some required a lot of emailing/texting/general shepherding. Some making enquiries for the limited time I had, made it clear they were willing to commit. So I said ok, new clients pay a deposit. Some loved it, some didn't. Some voluntarily paid the entire booking fee this way.

I have been around for a long time, established with feedback, which is quite different to someone who has only just started out.

In your case Strawberry I would have no problem with the deposit request as your a well established SP with an excellent reputation and a contributor to forums, I'm just surprised that some guys will even consider paying deposits to somebody who isn't established, even when I was new to this it's just not something I would have done.

So update is as follows.

Seems I offended her last night by calling her a compulsive liar, totalled it up to 7 "contact" promises and 3 "money back" promises added to 2 "meetings" missed.

The compulsive liar comment stemmed from her trying to change the agreed time last night. She did reply that she would never rip anyone off ever to which I replied that she really does need to look at this from my side.

So all in all still had the time booked off so went shopping again, bought nothing this time.

@Nova70 agreed and I usually wouldn't but risk v reward on this case was worth it, shall not get stung again.

Now in the case of the feedback I'd like some advice. I've seen 4 girls from the site but only one has provided feedback. Assuming I go negative on her feedback am I right in assuming that if I get a crap one back then it'll put me at basically having no feedback?

Im not sure how it works for guys but we can dispute negative feedbacks. I would definitely warn others about her via her feedback and if she retaliates then ask AWto remove or dispute it.

This needs to be reported, my advice is keep feedback to basics and don't fly off the handle. Many SPs do use common sense, many also do not rely on nor even ask about feedback - some will take phone only.
