Many guys pay to view escort private galleries as they fantasise about meeting that girl, I have not got the time to have an escort booking with the amount of guys that have brought my photos.

This is more about marketing, no different to the many ways big companies promote products.

While I suggested it was not the right thing to do, as best general advice, I really do not care what others do or don't do. It has nothing to do with me, does not effect me in way shape or form. I run my business with only my best interests at heart.

I agree that it's an attempt at marketing, I don't fault anyone wanting to promote themselves. But doing so by deception is a dick move and has a knock on effect to others.

I agree it's a shitty thing to do. I can also speak from experience and say ticking the escort box does NOT necessarily increase your potential for £. When mine was ticked I got an increase in the number of idiots saying "meet Bb?", "a,s,l bb?", "how much Bb?", and just lots more retarded timewasting comments in free and via email prefaced with "bb" in general. I had explicit instructions written on my profile which they completely ignored. If that's your target market bb then go for it! If on the other hand you DO want to escort I think it's far more effective to reach your target market during private shows and via your own website x

I didnt read it was "scamming" anyone. I read it as a new and maybe naive new girl. She asked for advice rather than doing it. No need to act like a dick.

Stating that you offer something which you have no intention to follow through on for the sake of trying to up your sales is scamming, no matter which way you want to read it.

Yeah she's new and maybe naive, she's been told it's not on and understands that now.

In the long run it's not a good idea, yes initially it may increase interest in your profile but when it starts becoming clear you don't really escort then you will start getting feedback stating that and perhaps your profile will then be reported and removed, from a punters point of view clarity about your service is appreciated.

All the best to you and your little man.

Ana isn't being a dick, she's right on it. I would report you as well if you were advertising false services - I've certainly done it before on Adultwork.

If I was interested in any other types of services and it turned out they were false advertising to rev up business (shops offering deals that don't exist, plumbers advertising themselves as electricians when they're not qualified, etc) then they would be rep[orted to the ASA and rightly so. If sex workers want rights and privileges offered to other areas of the labour market then they have to hold themselves up to the same legal standards. Naiveté and ignorance are no excuses for scamming customers.
