Good point shy, you do have to be incredibly discreet. I've never rented my spare room out yet. Part of me is a bit scared to trust my lovely apartment with someone else who might not be as discreet and let the cat out of the bag. It might be wise for me to wait until I go onto monthly rent, as I have paid 6 months in advance at the moment and I doubt I would get a refund.
