VOD means video on demand, a type of service that is now under regulation by an authority called atvod. If a provider falls under their durestiction they must abide by their rules, which include keeping all material which may be 'harmful to minors' away from them via stringent age verification procedures. As well as age verification the new rules also apply to the types of video material you can provide, such as spanking, caning, face sitting, and squirting, all of which are now restricted.
Every person who resides in the UK and makes videos or any service which could be deemed as tv like video on demand (Which may include you), needs to be aware of these regulations, and keep up to date with any new developments. Not doing so could land you in extremely deep water.
