have a provider remove positive feedback left?

Hi

I had a session with a provider a brief webcam session, but didn't want it viewable on my profile.

I told them I won't leave them any feedback because it's private. The provider then stupidly left me feedback. Positive but I don't want it from them.

They left me positive feedback. They are willing to remove their feedback but they don't know how.

I'd have thought AW would be OK with removing the feedback themselves but I don't see any contact for them.

Is my only option to remove my profile?

you can hide the feedback , pretty easy to do , edit profile - on the general tab scroll down there should be a box for you to untick "Show my Rating Number & Feedback" Then make sure you save , that will hide your feedback from everyone, I don't think AW will take it away , Some one left me a negative by mistake and he emailed them to say this and they where not interested .

I don't think you understood me.

I don't want to hide ALL my feedback (doing that would obviously be detrimental to me)

I want to hide or have the other person remove ONE feedback comment.

I just asked them to and got a response, they didn't remove the feedback, they edited the text of the feedback to say "fb removed" which is even worse and not what I meant by removing feedback. What I meant was so the name doesn't appear on my profile. I want no name and no comment.

How am I meant to explain that to them?

And do you know if they are capable of doing that?

Perhaps it would help if they understood why you wanted this?

Offhand, I can only think of a few scenarios where a punter would want positive feedback removed: it contained personal information (real name, for instance), or you have a special relationship with one provider and want to hide "infidelity" with another (which would be a bit weird), or you've seen a barebacker and want to hide that from escorts who won't see clients who've seen barebackers (obviously not relevant to cam sessions, it's hard to imagine a safer form of "safe sex").

AW can do anything they wish. Explain you need the full name removed or blanked out if possible.

I haven't had any reply regarding them removing the name.

I don't mind if I lose all feedback (though I have no negative I have hardly any feedback and don't need lots of feedback anyway). Would I be able to delete my profile, creating a new one of the same name?

(or would I have problems doing that e.g. if same card as the other one)?

I would suggest changing the name of your old profile to FinishedWithThisOne or whatever first, so that your new one is different to your old one even if you use the old name. Clear your browser cookies before making the new one, or it will become an "alias" of your old one (though I suppose it actually would be).
