Counselling??

Well i am a fully qualified counsellor and while i notice that AW has a section for medical/counsellors i see that there is no-one offering this.
I am not looking to make tons of money and obviously i would not be charging as much as a face to face session but i was wondering if it was worth giving this a go and deleting my normal profile and making a counsellor profile.
The only thing that stops me is that it costs a quid a day and i dont want to pay this to see I do not get any calls or IMs.
Has anybody tried this because i would love to be able to help people while making a little bit of money at the same time!!

If this is a non starter would i get my profile removed for advertising my services as a counsellor on my normal profile? I have tried to look in the help section but to no avail...

The only thing you can do is try it and see. AW is first and foremost an escort listing site, followed closely by amateur sexy camshows. Having said that I know of real world sex therapists who use it for advertising, face to face, and telephone sessions. I myself offer completely non sexual creative visualisation sessions, and now and then I do get customers for this though i don't advertise on my profile.

All I would say, is that if your counselling is not adult related and you don't want it to be, then think carefully about having your professional reputation connected with an adult site.

In all fairness I think alot of cam girls are like counselors in a way, guys come in, and some talk about any problems they might be having, quite a few times I've been in a pvt & had a guy pouring his heart out (bless him) about stuff that's going on in his life, some good, some bad, so I think they look at it in a way as someone to talk to & vent - Always try & offer advice that might be helpful as some might not feel confident enough to go & speak to someone face to face so this is an alternative for them to be able to connect & talk with someone It's talking to guys like this that makes me really enjoy camming & it shows its not all about dildos & boobs =P x
