Proof of income?

Bank statements are fine as long as they show regular/consistant income but I think 6 months is pretty standard for most things, i.e rent, mortgage, loans etc. If you have an accountant, (being self employed you really should) then he would and should be able to confirm your salary. As far as job description goes, I have my own business buyng and selling online as well as web design and affiliate marketing! This usually confuses the fuck out of who ever is asking to the point that they say, 'oh we'll just put internet entrepeneur.' Works every time .
The main thing to remember is as long as you can prove regular income and affordability, they do not need to know & probaby won't care exactly what you do.
