Kate, it's a good job you're so good at it and enjoy it so much! Your ex is not worth wasting head space on - it's how girls get bitter and twisted. Forget him and embrace the opportunities you have now.

If it were just me I would Ann, but there is a son involved and like it or not, he is his Dad. I want him (our son) to feel loved and that is what upsets me. I think if it was not for the fact he had siblings from his Dad's 2nd marriage, my son would likely not bother either, but he loves them and they are too little to have contact without going through my ex. I don't want him to miss out on knowing them.

Bought it for £12k when it was 1 year old, brand new price was £15k.
Insurance was £6k for 2 years.
Was spending £50/week in diesel (80p /litre), £5k total
Service per year, tax, 4 new tyres, needed new break pads every service, cost over £1000 total.
Total £24k i spent on it.
Crashed it after 2 years a right-off, insurance gave me £7.2k.

So, expensive hobby that was. Wasnt even a proper sports car, just a peugeot 306 2 litre diesel turbo with the full standard-sports features, the next model down from the GTi.

The vast amount of girls i couldve just simply paid them for sex instead... big sigh Tongue
If only mothers would encourage their sons to visit escorts lol instead of getting smashed up in booze at parties and/or having nice cars which a lot do race around in. The world would be a much safer and pleasurable experience..

We live and learn Tom, live and learn. My sister used to hang out with the boy racers at MacDonalds. She is a tad younger than me. They didn't exist when I was a teenager lol.

My biggest inspiration as a parent has been my parents. If I can do half as good a job with my kids as they did with me I will be well pleased.

I got into Engineering as a result of befriending a farmer when I was 7. He taught me so much about Engineering. When I was 17 he was killed in a logging accident - such a shame. My dad has had an influence on this too as he is an immensely practical man.

My current job and the way I behave at work from one of the engineers who I knew and got on really well with passing away last year due to cancer. It was a huge shock to all concerened - one minute he was healthy and there, the next he was diagnosed with cancer and passed away ver quickly. He was on of the nicest, kindest, knowledgeable and most helpful guys you could ever meet!
