I need a third phone, but I got such an ear bashing off my son when I got the second phone, I can't use it around him. Now I do have a spare phone, I'm going to get a sim for it and leave it at the apartment. It will mean missing out on calls, but at least I will be able to take it with me on tour etc.

Guys I am going to give a situation that may make you realise that you do need a seperate punting phone a couple of months ago I took a call basically enquiring about details for a future appointment.
About 5/10 minuted later the same number rang and I thought he was wanting to make a future appointment. When I answered no-one spoke so theres me saying hello, hello no answer when I listened I heard a womens voice saying come in,if you want to take your clothes of and lie on the bed I will be back in a minute. When he had phoned me he must have been sitting outside a parlour waiting to go in and then redialled my number by mistake in his pocket. Now just imagine if ther the last number that he had dialled was his wife, girlfriend kids or boss try explaining that one away

have you considered a 2 sim adaptor for a phone? They do them for some models, to switch between sims you turn the phone off and on

Do they do them for british phones now the other half did have one that was bought from the middle east where you could alternate without actually taking sim cards out but has had ones since where you actually have to take the sim card out and replace it

I don't think that would work for me. I'm useless and remembering to take my pill, let alone change over phones, then I would likely miss out on calls and potential work. I'm looking at using the 3rd phone for my new profile, which is much more specialist, so will have to make it understood that I can only answer it at certain times or something.
