i do try and promote myself much as i can, putting new pictures up, doing blogs now and again etc but i dont know exactly how else to get as much promotion as i can and visibility on the site! whatd you suggest to get more visibility from men on there? i try my hardest but it can be hard when youre lost in the sea of adultwork girls.. x

Like Sarah says, you need to do more than just promote your profile within AW.

Simple things like putting a link to your AW profile in your signature on here and on any other forums you contribute to will help. If you look at the stats for this thread, only 19 people have replied, but more than 250 have "viewed" the thread and some of those views could have resulted in a click through to your profile... except that you don't have a link... and this is just one thread on one forum!

And like Sarah says... twitter is a good tool. More so for cam girls than for escorts. Get on there and follow all the best girls - girls like KDB and Holly Rude have more than 10,000 followers on twitter... they just tweet their cam availability to encourage guys in to see them. Follow all the girls on here, and all the agencies and all the forums, join in on Follow Friday - link to twitter on your AW acount and in your profile sig - start sending naughty tweets... and soon enough you will start getting some followers - and all of your followers on Twitter are potential cam customers.

Even get your own website if you want to! It's very cheap and easy these days and you don't have to be a total techno professional - anyone can do it.

I don't recommend having a facebook account unless it's your only one...facebook has the ability to link accounts even when you have kept everything separate.

thats what i thought katy, thats why i dont do twitter or facebook for personal reasons! i like to keep work and private life seperate some how things always happen to link like you said. i understand the idea of promoting through sites like that x

Thank god I am not the only one experiencing it's slow. I can't use social networking sites for personal reasons and have used twitter in the past and it never helped before hand. I have never seen AW advertise anywhere so god knows where they get their traffic from.
