Does anyone think there might be a market for artwork on adultwork? I'm sure someone posted similar recently but I couldn't find a thread.
I can do commissions (almost anything you like) or offer my own personal artwork, i just posted an example of what I do on my blog here:
http://www.adultwork.com/BP/193612
I noticed someone featuring their artwork on the marketplace yesterday so it got me thinking about it again.
I'm also considering photography. I have access to everything I need at uni as well as having some of my own equiptment but I've been lazy and just used a digital camera for my own photo's. It's a pain setting it all up just for myself.
I could offer an outcall photography service... If I get my studio I could then offer studio shoots. I notice a distinct lack of female photographers on AW. I could certainly do a better job than some of the creepy men on AW who do shoots who have *somehow* managed to convince ladies they're professional. I've seen the photo's... they ain't.
Any thoughts?

Having used both, I always feel more comfortable with a female photographer... set up a profile and give it a go!
(I think AW allow a second profile for things like that don't they?)
Just done a quick search and of the 31 photographers listed on AW, only 2 are female! And they are both in the South East. Might be worth contacting them to see whether it is worthwhile? I'm sure they wouldn't mind being as you are way out of their patch and so won't represent any competition?

As for Artwork... dunno if AW is the right place for it? But if you don't try, you'll never know!

I'm up north so might be quite useful for me if there's no lady photographers up this way. I think my major selling point would be that I wasn't in it for wank fodder and no chance of a "special discount"
I'll do some erotic artwork and list it just to see how things go, you know the type... nice fairly safe yet slightly edgy boudoir portraits. The sort of thing to add a hint of kink to anyone's bedroom

Yea, totally. Fortunately I don't do nude, but considering what i do for a living and the fact that I know the tog is professional, I still feel pretty awkward with a guy?

Yea, for sure... if you can do commissions then that would be great. I've had an idea in my mind for something I would want to hang above my bed, actually. It's something which has always been in my mind as long as I can remember and I've thought of having it done as a photograph, but I like the idea of the artistic license which can be applied with brushwork.... dunno... there are benefits to both I guess? You never know, I might commission you!

That's exactly what my boyfriend said Katie, I'm still not sure myself. Photography I think is definately the way to go if I want to try new things.

It's a cool idea but I don't think the boys would be that interested? Not sure. I draw everyday and I am teaching myself how to Tattoo (in fact I did my first real one recently!
). I've never really thought of selling artwork though..

I saw an amazing show recently about a guy who does erotic body painting (think it was on sexcetera lol). His stuff was actually really good, and a beautiful way to work with the human body if you are that way inclined. Perhaps rather than selling your art directly ou could incorporate body painting in your gallery pictures/ movies? x

Oooo I've actually been asked about body painting on
MyFreeCams.com. There was one guy I spoke to on AW who liked the idea of me pouring emulsion all over myself but I think that's going too far!
