In the past when I have watched movies on AW they always appeared as a direct stream in the web browser. The last couple of times they opened as a direct download to my computer. I am not sure if this is an option set up by the content provide, or maybe AW changed the way movies are viewed on the site?

If the movie is WMV it gives the option to download but you may find that the movie suddenly stops playing, this can take days or weeks.
MP4 movies open up quicktime as a live stream or, depending on how you access the movie, it will give the option to watch in windows movie maker. I've started to use email sized MP4's as the file is half the size of the email sized WMV, and that makes the movies cheaper. |
