Adultwork notifier doesn't work for me any more?

This is really annoying as now msn is gone/going getting notification on emails etc is harder.

Now I am don't get emails when I get messages bookings on AW and I dont always get a text message for cam show etc?

Is it just me?

Last week I was getting emails and texts without problem. I get the emails coming through on my phone and my laptop, and I can see them coming through. I also keep AW from logging out by having a tab open on the IM or the directcam page, which keeps updating...I stay on the email page so it shows on the tab when an email or booking has come through.

Hi ladies,I noticed this too...i downloaded the notifier a couple of weeks ago as i'd never tried using it before and i have to say i'm disappointed with it. It doesn't even pop up if i have an email. I have to keep logging into it to check.I too have always relied on my hotmail coming through to notify me and i use my mobile for bookings. Did the notifier work properly before?

Notifier always has worked for me, but now that you mention it, it doesn't actually seem to be running at the moment? I think i had to stop it to update Adobe Air a couple of weeks back, and I'm not sure it ever restarted? Just had a look and I can't even find the executable on my drive!

Also, I tried uploading some pics to me free gallery yesterday and the java uploader wasn't working... I had to go back to the old fashioned upload page.

I wonder if the Adobe Air update crashed it?

I've just reinstalled it from here and it immediately showed me my credits balance... and I've just emailed myself and notifier popped up in the usual way.

So maybe try reinstalling?

Once upon a time the notifier used to always work and with sound!! I haven't had sound in years!

I miss msn that was a great notifier but now I dont even get emails for AW that would be pointless. Today I've not got any texts for my available status either.

Its so strange! I was thinking of removing it because its been no use to me whatsoever,also whats the point in having the status on it when no one can see our status?

I use AW Notifier on my laptop and its ALWAYS been temperamental, i.e., sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't so its unreliable really (I'm always trying to 'kick start' it, ie., make sure its working for when I'm camming but it doesn't always happen & I have to rely on my vigilance/wits!). Never would have thought of using Hotmail (as back up/Plan B!) till you suggested it but its now too late! Also I didn't know the AW notifier has sound, I've never had sound!

Re texts, I rely on these for all my webcam/phone chat bookings (seeing as I can't rely on the AW notifier) - the texts only let me down once, in that I got a string of them the NEXT day after webcamming but I put the problem down to my mobile phone service provider that night (& not the AW system, that generates the texts, although of course it could have been but it was a one off).

Notifier is great WHEN it works, when it doesn't its PITA!

Sorry I mis-read I thought you said it HAS sound not it had, hence my reference to it in the above post (am a bit bleary eyed this time of the day!). Be good if it was brought back, (might have to trot off to the 'Suggestion Box').
