Free chat has its good and bad points.
It's a good tool for promoting your profile and a way for new members to discover you, but only if you can stand the barrage of requests (or abuse).
Whether its quiet or busy on the site, more than an hour in free preview will generally drive you bonkers!
Most important things to note are: Guys will not read pre-scripted messages, everyone wants something for nothing and the ones that want a show will not ask about prices.
I used to think free chat was the best use of my time on cam, but my faith in it dwindled pretty quickly!
A topic could be a good idea, but due to the 3 minute time out system that AW employs, (and any time period restrictions you place individually on ur free chat room) people tend to be in and out of free chat rooms - ignoring the message that u are there WAITING FOR SHOWS, not just to twiddle ur thumbs and look good.
Being able to see some form of differentiation between clients that have credits, and clients that don't, would be a nice feature though. (Could also be used as a system to flag up members with lots of negative feedback??) ie. Green username = has credits. Red username = no credits. Black username = high negative feedback
