I had my upper and lowers done a couple of years ago at the same time as hubby. I have to say he looks 10 years younger now without the hoods. I have noticed that I am very sensitive to light now that my eyes are wider lol. They do say that the one thing to do to make yourself younger if you are going under the knife is to have the eyes done

Where did you have it done? Was it expensive?

I had it done through Tonic clinic in Nottingham, cost me about £3000, hubby spent 2.5K because he had his done under sedation!!! No way, you need knocking out for that procedure IMO. It takes a good 2 weeks to recover properly enough to work again, but you won't really notice the full extent of the procedure for 3 months but then, BAM!

could be worse, someone thought I was my sisters mother recently.............mine you I was laid flat on my back on a spinal board at the time screaming in agony after a fall backwards down the stairs - not really a good look on anyone and she is 15 yrs younger than me

Always looked older as a teenager etc, because of my height and breasts. Had my first bra at 11.

I'd like to think now I just look my age, I.e. Mid 20s. X

There's a number of factors at play with regard ageing. I was dealt a very lucky hand and I'm normally considered on average 8 years younger than I am. Partly genetics are at play - my mother looks extraordinarily good for her age and I've inherited that trait. I think you can improve your chances (maybe some tongue in cheek):
1. Don't smoke
2, Don't drink
3. Don't have children
4. Don't go out in the sun
5. so certainly don't get an outside job
6. Moisturise constantly.
7. Dress young and style your hair modishly (without looking preposterous)
8. Eat loads of fruit and veg, but don't get skinny and gaunt so eat a good balanced diet.
Apart from an occasional glass of beer, all the above apply to me. I can't furrow my brow (skin too tight), I don't have crows feet or rings under my eyes yet I am well into middle age.

Yeah, and eat FAT! Low fat diets are terrible for your skin. I don't believe all of the crap about low fat, high carb being healthy at all as man evolved on a high fat diet. I don't eat grains and my diet is quiet low carb. Going from a high carb to a low carb diet resulted in me losing four stone and my skin and general health has never been better.

Oily skin too, I've always had oily skin and a baby face... Makes you look younger.
