So what do you think of them a few years ago I would have never been seen dead in one but suddenly got the urge to rummage.

In the last couple of months I have bought things that you would not believe, probably the biggest bargain I got was a brand new pair of Kurt Geiger kitten heels that still had the price tag of £99 and I paid £4.50 they had never been worn not a mark on the sole.

Honestly it is really worth a rummage I am addicted and we plan our days out round them avoid the underware thpugh dont think I could cope with that

They have become quite fashionable places to visit, especially in places like chelsea, and cheshire, were lots of the wags send dispose of lots of their designer cast offs, sometimes never worn if a.n.other celebrity has been featured in the pages of heat etc wearing it first.

Honestly if you if you can pick the right area and over come the stigma that has been installed in us regarding the ethos that charity shops are for people that are for the lowest of the low and I hope you realise what I mean by this you can get some absolutely amazing bargains and you are also giving back to a charity no matter what that charity is it benefits.

Even now if I am having a clear out where in the past I would have just thrown stuff out I make a conscious effort to send it to a charity shop so someone else can benefit from it

I read a lot and get most of my books from charity shops and return them sio they can be re-read again, but my main gripe about charity shops, is they always ask you for the right money, as if they never have any change, I thibk it is just a ruse to make you ay more by saying oh dont bother with the changem I was in one just the other day, browsing and sadly walking away without anything, when a shop worker stopped me, and asked if I wanted to buy the christmas raffle ticket!....
