Cheques - 13 November

Has anybody else requested a cheque to be processed today and notice it is still showing as awaiting processing? I've never seen this before and AW are usually very prompt in processing.

Hey, just took this from the System Status section, hope it helps

"Payment delays W/C 11/11/2012

Please note that on Monday, November 12th, 2012, our Vancouver office will be closed for Remembrance Day. All local banks and courier services will also be closed. We look forward to resuming normal business hours on Tuesday, November 13th.

This means that any Cheque or ESP payments due for processing on the 13th may be delayed by one working day.

We envisage that CHAPS/FPS should go through as normal."

Ah, many thanks Kitty. You helped me with two things there - one with the answer and secondly I never knew that section existed, so will check that our regularly.

And it's a very good reason for the office to be shut, so all very explainable and understandable.
