All you have to do is read forums about how AW should do this and that etc to see people have an opinion on how AW should do things better.

More than sufficient for average earnings yes.

A webcam service has multiple areas, if you have better than average service in most areas but bad in one area that can let the whole service down, eg bad light, internet. No point having a 1K machine with a £200 cam if your light is bad so upgrade all areas of service, its simple business.

Edit to add: the original suggestion of getting the next stage in webcam came with a suggestion to upgrade the internet, so the net would match the webcam.

I was looking at the live thumbnails of girls in group sessions last night...from what I can see, I must be doing this all wrong...I need to get myself a cheap webcam (or just use the sorry excuse that came with my laptop), charge 2.99 for grp, sit there in appalling lighting, and after an age lift up my top to show my bra and nothing more. These girls weren't even escorts or claiming to be porn stars.

I don't get it...but it doesn't matter, I can only do what I feel happy with anyway.

I'm quite happy earning "only" hundreds with the odd thousand pound days & if you had gotten your way & got me into your group for free as you offered a few months ago, you would have seen this.

I use cams of varying price tags but they make little difference to actual earnings given the rest of the high quality of the rest of my set up.

I'd appreciate it if you kept your condescension to yourself; it does neither of us any favours.

Some of the advice here is terrible, from a clients point of view UPGRADE YOUR CAM, we can tell who has a crappy cam and who has taken the time and effort to upgrade their cam. ESPECIALLY when in full screen!

I hate to break it to you baldrick but for 6 months I asked clients who preferred which cam, switching between the two & I too was gobsmacked when they opted for the old skool logitech!

Go figure!

The most recent suggestion to the member via pm is to try the online version of JCI, as it uses a different setup.

So if anyone finds the downloaded JCI software not working as they wish, a quick fix might be to try the online version until the downloaded one is performing better.

On a slight tangent can I just butt in with this:

Wither you have a £xx webcam or a £xxx priced one, they'll both amount to nothing if the service provider doesn't know/understand their audience.

Back in the day before my Logitech pro I used a microsoft cam which cost about £10 and it didn't stop me making hundreds a day - because I knew my audience, I catered to their needs, was never robotic and remembered key things about them which made interacting far more personal.

And I know admin, when you advised Anna regarding ‘Which Cam’, you said it with the Greatest Intentions.

However, Dirtykinkybitch, has a point, ‘Logitech is Reliable’, its easy to use and with no fuss.
Having a Logitech 900 works well for me, it enables me to move it around , hold it in my hand for pov and so on…quite simply I love it, has I recall it cost around £59 at the time. (Bargain)

For me , my high end machines and internet contact are paramount for what I do. Has is, my good reliable, easy to use, less on the wallet, Logitech.

Is that the Harmony 900 Logitech or did you mean the Logitech 9000? I just had a quick look on amazon and the 900 is coming up as £211! I currently have the logitech pro 9000, it's really the best cam I've had so far. I was considering upgrading to the c910 but not sure yet until I've done my PC upgrade... no point in having a great cam if my pc is becoming slow and out dated.

Justcamit is still randomly disconnecting...

I've discovered that my new Logitech c920 needs my bandwith setting above the suggested 250kbps...I have upload to play with so am now using at 1mbps and it's finally a good picture with no fuzziness or lagging.

I always wondered about that setting on the cam so you can move it above the 250kpbs? do you have to have a good connection if you move it higher?.
