Directcam positioning/ featuring

Just wondering how often people bid for direct cam positioning/ feature their profiles? And if so, how regularly do you do it, and how much, on average, do you bid?

I will usually bid every other hour, and sometimes for a few consecutive hours, and spend between 0.60-0.70 credits. I'm not convinced how effective it is... I'm sure it helps, but I don't want to waste credits doing it more often than necessary. I do sometimes find that if I log on I will get a client before I've even had a chance to bid (this happened straight away this morning), but it went a bit quiet the following hour, when I had spent my credits bidding.

I've had the same experience with featuring my profile. I haven't got round to bidding for a member of the day slot yet (which I'm sure will be very effective), but when I've featured it I've never found it has made much difference.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Hiya...I tried daily featuring for a whole month for cam but found it made no difference...all it did was alert the freeloaders to when I was on cam and doing free preview, which is actually funny when doing directIM as it shows you're doing free preview when it's actually only free chat in directIM and they come in wondering why they can't see you.

Hourly positioning I do...I pay anything from .50 - 1 credit, I think it does help but I have sat there for an hour before with nothing happening, not positioned for the next hour and suddenly found myself busy.

When guys grab you as soon as you go on, it's because they have clicked the button for being notified when you are next online.

Have tried it a few times and its worked well in the main..but for some reason it stays the same for me on a Tuesdays (Tuesday is generally slow for me)

Featuring works for me at least in gallery/ movie sale increase. Positioning I find next to useless.

Hourly positioning I find extremely helpful, especially on evenings when there's a lot of guys trawling through to see who's available instantly. I'm not so sure about daily featuring though sometimes I do have more gallery/movie views, and a lot more profile views, and a lot of pointless emails.

For featuring to work you have to get the box to turn green, that will usually get you on the top line. I like the way it works now, no longer do the girls offering free automatically go top, it depends on how much you pay to position. I usually go 2-4 credits and can get myself in the first 3-5 girls you see, sometimes even getting before ones that are already doing shows. And of course you have to be the type of girl guys want to see.

Yes, depending how much you spend of course.

Not sure about the teen thing - i got less page views and less custies when i changed from tasty 20's to teens
