To be honest, a lot of my close friends, and my sister, know what I do for a living. However, I do have a considerable amount of relatives who don't know, or at least I think they don't know. The way I see it, there is always a risk of friends and family finding out when you get your kit off over the internet. I have had a couple of people comment to me when they've found images of me on free porn sites. I see it as an occupational hazzard.

I would love to take part in one of these documentaries. But whilst I'm aware that there is always a risk of people finding out, I don't want to enhance that risk by appearing on national tv. I do think it's a bad idea, unless you've told everyone you're close to and you have nothing to hide.

I loved My phone sex secrets but I did find it pretty ridiculous that one of the participants had ambitions to be a maths teacher. Whilst I don't feel this should matter, unfortunately it does. If you want any career involving children then I imagine it is pretty suicidal to tell the world that you've once worked as a sex worker :/

It's not the risk of being found out that's the problem...it's the flood of new girls to AW again that we saw after the last programme, while the number of guys seems to be decreasing. If that continues we won't need to worry about people finding out what we do, we'll be back to regular jobs again.

I agree with you Classy_Katy. The problem is not only the flood of new girls, but how cheap they price their services. I made it through this rough time and it was difficult to my keep prices.

I don't want to go through this again , if possible.

Plus, as the email said they were looking to focus on fetishes I do worry that the program could be damaging in terms of alienating our clients who come to us seeking people who won't judge them or make a mockery of them for their quirks. Why don't they go bother folk on other cam sites, grrr.

When I joined in May last year, most girls were 1 credit + a minute for phone chat, then when the newbies flooded in they were charging .60 or so.
