This forum states that it is independent to Adultwork AND NOTHING TO DO WITH THEM ?

ODD .... Adultwork today was hanging and my browser said

... waiting to connect to www.adultwork.com

I then came on to this forum to see if others had the same profile

Adultworkforum hung and said

... waiting to connect to www.adultwork.com
and then after a while diverted to this forum ????

This website isn't owned by adultwork. As far as I know it is owned by someone who manages a group on adultwork, that's where the connection begins and ends.

Plenty of times AW has been down and this site has not, and vice versa, so I think that may have been a coincidence?

You could always look-up and see where each site is hosted and who the owners are if you wanted to... it's easily done.

I do think that the admin here does have the ear of the admins over at AW (but probably wouldn't openly admit to it!) but only, I think, because they are involved with AW on a business footing for other reasons and so are well known to them. I do, though, tend to believe that the two are independent. And even if they are not, I couldn't really care less to be honest. If there were an obvious link between the two beyond the name, then this forum would be flooded (or maybe I should say "even more flooded") with people angrily posting about their complaints against AW and the true value of the forum would be destroyed.

One of the things I particularly like about this forum is that is it very provider orientated so there is lots of good advice to be had for us girls, which isn't always the case on other forums. The only other active forum I know of which is quite so provider orientated (in fact, it is exclusively providers only as far as I know) doesn't really seem to cater very much for Escorts and seems largely centred around performance artists.

So connected or not, I don't really see it as an issue either way.

There is a very good explanation for this and it is exactly the same as the problems that you encounter when sites use google adwords / analytics or any other advertising medium on the site.

The above adverts for webcam models are a script running from Adultwork, anytime that adult work runs slow they will take time to load on the site, unfortunately this slows the whole site down. This does not mean it has any relation to Adultwork apart from using their advertising script.

We must assume that you are father of boydoby on account of he has the same brain level and ignorance, you reallyshould have tried to educate him above your own level...

The current admin took over this board from the original creator and was already running a succesful cam group and looked at this as a way of helpuing people in the industry and promoting her own group.

This shows good business sense. now go away and do your trolling some place else

I have no idea how you come to the conclusion that one is hosted "from" the other as from a technical point of view that doesn't make much sense. If you mean that they are both listed by the same registrar, then yes... they are... but so is about a quarter of the world! They are on different serves and are registered to different people (one a company the other an individual) in different countries.

As W4R quite rightly says, the picture stream at the top of the forum comes from AW and if it is lagging then effectively (in laymans terms) this site may well have to "wait" for those images to download, to the browser will report that it is "waiting for adultwork.com", yes. Have you never noticed when someone posts something like a link to a video on YouTube their site might say "waiting for youtube.com"?

But the big question is.... why does it matter to you?

yes when you connect to www.youtube.com it can say waiting for the site

what is not expected is connecting to this forum it clearly goes to Adultwork first so this forum has been caught out and is not independent as you say.

What's with this guy? And even if this forum was or is run by adultwork what would be the problem with that? Surely that'd be EXCELLENT if it were because then the powers that be could take inspiration for new features from the input of both the service providers and seekers.
