Scary Experience with escort

There have been reports of guys getting turned over at hotel meetings. i can not recall the full story but do recall reading something about it. This is unfortunate and like everything else in life the chance of anything happeing to you is 1 in a 1,000,000 or maybe half that as we do not have exact figures.

We cab only assume the above on the amount of business that is conducted through Adultwork making the internet the largest platform for escorts and punters. In which case, we would hear far more about the pronlems of guys being ripped off than we do.

Even the boys at UKPunting have very few reports on blatant rip-offs / con acts (other than fake profiles on AW). So we can assume it is relatively safe out there. But always be careful!

Not sure you can assume its 'relatively safe' - for every one event you do hear about, how many do you not because the guy has a life he'd rather keep and not share the fact he was visiting an escort with?

I think you need to be sensible and take appropriate precautions, just like we do.

If I am doing an outcall then I just wouldn't go to an address which is in a dodgy area - and maybe neither should you?

And maybe when you are talking to the girl on the phone your antenna should be up (not just your dick) listening out for the little tell-tail signs that she could be a wrongun, just like ours are when we are talking to you?

Perhaps if a girl is new to the scene and has no feedback, then unless you are the kind of guy who seeks out new blood (as some do) then perhaps just hotlist her and come back to her in a few weeks?

If she has 2 crappy blurred pics she's taken herself in the mirror on her mobile phone and her profile is three lines long, then maybe you might think to yourself that if she hasn't taken much care of marketing herself and doesn't much care for her image, then is she going to take good care of you?

And most of all... the golden rule... if it looks too good to be true, then it probably is!

None of this will guarantee to keep you safe, of course. We do occasionally hear of cases of well established girls falling into disrepute - but on the whole that seems to be quite rare.

I think you can use the term "relatively safe" in proportion to the amount of clients that see an escort each day and have a problem, even working on the assumption that some will not report the matter to the police.

The point being, as above, on the internet they can report things without revealing an identity, as such there would be far more reports of this happening if it happened that often. There is a huge network of both punters and girls on various forums but very few reports of violence etc against punters.

Trinity has some good advice to keep your self safe and girls also have to rely on their own gut feelings and weigh up each situation.

Well after all your advice it seems it amounted to nothing. The police decided arrested her and her partner, but decided not to pursue with it due it being my word against hers. This is despite being told that because they had previous convictions and I have none that they would be seen to not be telling to truth.

Now she's back on AW with another profile ( http://www.adultwork.com/ViewProfile.asp?UserID=1813083 ), showing her face this time. Seems there's no justice and new people being scammed. It's a sad world we live in.

Sorry to hear that, this was always likely to happen, at least it has been reported. I know that does not help you, nor does it help the next poor soul that crosses their door, but at least it has gone in the book and should somebody else take the same action as you will start to help the police charge them with something.

She appears to have her feedback blocked so hope that will warn people off.

You did the right thing. This will now be on her record, and the next time she pulls a stunt like that - providing the next victim also goes to the police then there ought to be enough evidence then for them to do something about it.

*edit- the link isn't working for me, could someone link me again?

Always always always report crimes like this, because if it's not reported nothing would ever get done.

Keep the faith Jas she's a tiny percentage of the good honest (and tax paying!) Women out there.

Fixed the link.

Wish it was a tiny percentage. Thought I'd have another go the other week and decided on an outcall, as I'm sure you can imagine I'm pretty nervous about doing this again. It did not end well either. After phoning and swapping details she was 2 hours late, and not even the girl from the photos. She didn't understand why I didn't want to see her or let her in my door. Then her driver got out and asked me for money to cover his costs. Luckily he wasn't violent and after I started calling the police decided to leave.

At least you all on here are nice and give me a little faith.

Not having much luck are you?

What criteria are you searching for when you decide on who to see? If I were in your shoes Jas I'd be looking for ladies who have public galleries, feedback spread over a number of months, verified status and field reports. Hypothetically of course.

I am sorry honey... but you did do the right thing.

And you did the right thing with this other girl too... if she's not the girl in the pics, walk away.
