really need some help please on cam

Hi to all you nice people, for the last two days i have tried in vain to set up a web cam with just cam it and the internet page one.

Im using logitech cam pro 4000, it says it set but there is no picture, and when i try to click anything in options it freezes my computer completely, i then have to turn off the pc and start again. I have read all the help files etc, maybe its my camera, what is the best cam to use with directcam.

Any advice would really be appreciated many thanks :-)

The online version runs on Flash so that may need updating http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/...kwaveFlash

Any camera should work, it sounds more like a software problem that halts it.

If you have any camera software installed you may wish to remove it, it may be conflicting with JCI.

If you spend around £100-£200 on a camera that will give above average quality I would think.
