Dreadlocks maybe...

Yesterday I dreadlocked my husbands hair! looks awesome...

I am relocating in the the spring and when I do escorting will have to stop without question...

When I am cam only I dont think having dreads would be a problem at all but it might while I still do meets..... hmm

And before the common objections are raised I will point out 1) no they do not smell you can wash as often as every 3 days.. right now I have to wash and style my hair at least once a day which is a total ball ache and very time consuming

...and you get pretty sparkly beads to put in them! (yes that's what sold it to me lol)

so far Purple hair has had no negative impact (in fact a positive impact) and I certainly intend in the next fortnight just to go all purple (two toned is nice but a hassle in maintenance).

of course the main dilemma... its easy for boys if they change ther minds they can just shave it off... no so easy for girls I dont fancy a short hair look :/

It took me an entire day sitting in the bathtub but I actually combed out four years' worth of dreads and had shoulder length hair left! They were very tight locks so I was extremely surprised. Just got a bit more chopped off to make it tidy.
Anyway, point is, if you have thick hair with lots of volume then you should be fine when you've decided you've had enough of the dreads. Just buy a couple of bottles of cheap conditioner and a metal comb.

I should also add that one of the main reasons that I got rid of them in the end is that they took 6 hours to dry when I'd washed them, and I would wash every day or every other day as you may find that your fringe will get greasy quickly as your scalp is more exposed. My advice to others would be not to dread your fringe so that you can wash separately!

awe thanks for that. i dont have a fringe so no problem there... I never considered the idea you could brush out a good length of hair when you wanted a change

Being in charge of MrJems maintenance will be a good way for me to see how they go. I have thought maybe giving myself 2 or 3 dreads to one side just see what sort of reaction they get....

I could also try faking it for a photo shoot using hair products... will do that after i've dyed my hair I think..... how i still have hair attached to my head I have noooo idea lol

Will do! It's a long process as Im still trying to get it all purple!

I am def going for it! Think of the money and time I'll save! Washing and blow drying my hair every day is such a ball ache ha
