UKPunting use the word "probability"

I used to be a member of this forum with the name Kenny M, and had over 250 posts , so please dont call me a newbie.

I used to post regularly in the early days of this forum and did much to keep it going when there was few members around.

And yes I used to be a member of UK P till I left them, but I do think they do a good job of trying to weed out the false people.

Hi, newbie here but not new to the hobby.
I was googling UKP and saw this and other threads in the results, I read some and I am surprised by some of the comments. While AW has a huge database to manage, the number of fakes and dodgy profiles is staggering and IMO anyone who reports them is doing AW and its genuine users a service. As someone with experience in IT and at least one full ounce of grey matter Smile it has to be said that AW could do a lot more to reduce or even remove fakes and cross-service (escorts that really don't but want to appear in search results) advertisers.
Sorry to make my first post on a bit of a moan but this is the reality.
Best regards, marty.

Ps. I'm not a supporter or knocker of UKP in fact I'm currently waiting approval for membership there too.

What number? How was it arrived at?

Again, do you guys realise AW isn't just about escorting?

Trouble is that UKP very often mistakenly report genuine girls, and AW deactivate them... and if our profile is deactivated we lose money until we can get it switched back on... especially cam girls.

I don't they realise that this is not an idle hobby for us girls, it is out livelihood. It would be like you running a shop and a random person who has seen your internet advertisement but never tried to visit the shop reporting you to trading standards, and you getting closed down as a result until you can PROVE to trading standards that you are a genuine business. I don't think many shop keepers would put up with that, and I don't see why we should either.

It's fine to "weed out the fakes" I guess (although actually they don't bother me) but UKP in particular seem to be on a mission and think almost everyone is fake.

And some people seem to think that because people support a weeding out of the fake people (who dont bother you, but can bother people who pay for services) they must be in UKPunting.

Not at all... not unless they come onto an internet forum saying how great UKP are and what a good job they do of getting "fake" profiles taken down... in which case it is a fairly reasonable assumption to make and, in the end, not ultimately damaging anyone's income.

And the reason the "fakes" don't bother me is because the ones which are "fake" are normally so bloomin obvious. Stunning 18 year old girl with porn star experience and a stunning gallery of professionally shot pics is offering Escort services in Scunthorpe for £60 an hour... or some such nonsense.

The simple fact of the matter is that the only thing these profiles are doing is promoting dirty pics, for which you have to pay. And the only thing they are doing "wrong" is saying that they are available to you as an escort, when in fact they are not. They just want a few credits off you for viewing their private gallery. And if you view that gallery, is it because you are genuinely interested in seeing this escort and just want to see her in more graphic detail? Or is it because you want to have a wank over her dirty pics? Be honest. If the answer is "B" then how have you been scammed? If the answer is "A" then more fool you for thinking you can get a porn star on the cheap.

And that is the truth of it.

The only reason these profiles exist is because there are so many men out there who are happy to pay to see dirty pics of what they believe to be a professional working girl (and don't forget that this whole industry is predicated on a lie, so no biggie there) or idiots who think that they really can get the best girl in the world for the price of a round of drinks.

My advice is simple and three fold...

1/ If it looks too good to be true, it probably is.
2/ If you are genuinely interested in seeing an escort, e-mail her BEFORE you pay to view her private gallery.
3/ If you just want to look at dirty pics, then don't worry about whether the girl is a genuine escort or not... just enjoy it for what it is.

So yea, sure, if you find a profile which is quite obviously "fake" then yea, report it... you know, trying to sell pics which are freely available elsewhere on the net, and they have probably just downloaded.

But just don't allow yourself to get all obsessive about it, believing that every profile must be a "fake" unless proven otherwise. It's not good for you, it isn't going to change the oldest profession in the world (which, as I have already said, is predicated on a lie anyway) and it isn't going to make you popular with genuine girls who get their profiles deleted because some dick thought they must be a "fake" because of, as this thread reliably informs us, "probability"

This posted today on another forum I am a member of:

a genuine working girl Wrote:Help - my AW profile has disappeared!

I went to log in a couple of minutes ago and have found that my AW profile has disappeared (along with all my bookings for the next couple of weeks... and my credits!)

For those that have booked me please get in touch here or by email *********@yahoo.co.uk until this is sorted!

This is a girl who has been on AW for over 2 years, has a feedback score of nearly 500 (including MANY for recent escort work) and who I personally know to be actively seeing clients regularly.

Now I'm not suggesting for one minute that this girl has been "reported" by UKP or anyone else for that matter, I'm just trying to give you an indication of how quick AW are to de-activate a profile, even of a long standing girl with a good reputation, and how traumatic it is for the girl in question to have that happen to her.

When my profile got de-activated at the start of last year, I didn't know I could just contact AW and get it switched back on, so I started a new one, so all the feedback and field reports I had worked hard to build up were consigned to oblivion. Fortunately there weren't any credits on the account at the time and I didn't have any pre-booked featuring slots either.

And I am not the only girl to have done this... not by far... there is a thread about it on here somewhere...

I feel sorry for that lady, Adultwork have a blatant disregard for real profiles, nobody is secure with them. What Adultwork fail to see is in the eyes of punters who more and more view them just as a scam site, I do and any new profile that has a private gallery is suspect. Not sure if AW realise the damage they are doing to themselves, they are certainly not sales orientated, more so IT guys who are like accountants with a one track mind and not living in the real world.
If you google stats for AW you will see they are actually going downwards for hits, not only is their revenue going down, so is the interest and that affects all escorts, cammers etc etc. Many other forums have members complaining of a downturn in business from AW, frankly the way they behave, it's hardly surprising ?

UKP and "jacob the ripper" certainly expose scams that AW should be sorting and don't, no doubt because they are money earners, if Jacob misses a scam, more money for AW ..... so very sad
BUT .... UKP and jacob in particular, has a positive hate for escorts and attempts to destroy all the non scams as well mainly without any proof whatsover.
The terrible thing is AW bow down to him, god knows why, UKP is a really crap site who bully and have followers who also bully. As twitter shows, there is an army of people who will close UKP down, the sooner the better

I think we have got your messsage, we got it on the last two posts that related to UKP and I am sure as AW learn they are losing money they will do something about it, maybe now you would like to contribute to some other posts or start something unrelated to UKP...

I am sure you have lots to share with us about other aspects of escorting
