My Next NOOB Question - New Featured Members

OK Soo many NOOB questions I know, but hopefully they will be helpful to others too...

I appeared once in the "New Featured Members" section at the bottom of the home page... but never again

Yet I see the same profiles there every day pretty much ??? How can this be if they are NEW ? Is this actually a PAID spot, cause if so I cant find reference to how to purchase it anywhere

I do feature my profile every day... from the Feature Your Profile ad for like £1.50/£1.75 a day... but where exactly that put's me I dont know...

So is there a way to be featured in the "New Featured Members" section ?

I usually always feature my Movie Page for like £10.50 !!! Not sure if those really help ??? I tried to get the Group of the Day as well once, but was outbid, and not sure what sort of return there is off them ads...

It's a shame there isn't a system in place that shows the stats off clicked traffic from things like that as it would encourage me to invest more...

I can't answer this, but I can give you a couple of guides to some of the things I do, if you like.

I keep a track of the number of hits on my profile each day. This gives me an indication of what my "average" number of hits is so that when I engage in promotional activity, I can see what difference it makes. I guess that if I was selling movies I would try to see whether I had more downloads on days I was featuring my movies than on days I was not, and whether the difference was worth the investment.

Also, i have noticed that some activities tend to get a better response on some days of the week, so it is worth keeping a check on that too, and realising that they guy who is signed in at 2am on a Friday night/Saturday morning is likely looking for something different to the guy who is signed in at 11am on a Tuesday!

I've tried pretty much all of the available promotional activities relevant to someone who Escorts only, with the exception of "Escort of the Day", so I have a pretty good idea what works for me and what doesn't. Some activities increase the number of hits on my profile but donlt actually translate into more phone calls, others seem to have a "slow burn" effect, where I might notice a slight increase in activity over a number of days... one or two more enquiries per day spread over 4, 5 or 6 days can be more valuable than something more instant which might produce 4 or 5 extra enquiries in one day. Also, I've noticed that for me, some activities actually produce a better result if you DON'T do them all the time... I think for some activities, guys can become "blind" to your profile if they see it all the time.

But I am pretty sure that each girl is different and that what works for one may not necessarily work for another, so you kind of have to suck it and see, so to speak! lol

I think that appearing on the front page is fairly random - sometimes I notice a massive uplift in my hit rate, even though I have not done anything different. Once, just once, I noticed this increase during the day and happened to go to the home page (which I wouldn't normally do) and low and behold my profile was being featured on the home page! I forget what section it was under.

If anyone knows a sure-fire way to get onto the front page, apart from the "of the day" slots, I'd love to hear about it! haha!

Trinity, a cheap way to get on the front page is to write a blog and feature it. It costs a mere 0.50 credits

It does work too, had clients mail me after reading my blog via the front page!

Wow... what a great idea!

I've been thinking of writing a blog for ages... quite a few people have asked me to... you know, sort of A Day in the Life of a T-Girl.

Trouble is, people don't seem to realise... my life is pretty ordinary really! Probably not that different to yours.

I get up, make coffee, check my messages, have a shower and get into work for the day... it's not different for me just because I happen to be trans!

Hey - just had a great idea for an opening blog... "Just a Girl" - all about how very ordinary my life really is.

- Write your new entry... and then, at the bottom of the box where you write it, it gives you some options:
1) Picture (a must)
2) Post to Twitter (another must)
3) Show On Home Page Scroller (the POINT of my post - lol)

Showing on the home page scroller will get you on the front page for a mere 0.50 credits... which in our adult service provider world equates to around 35p?

Alas I can see all of that except point 3... I dont get anything saying that, is that like just for escorts/webcammers ? I am a content provider, so wondering if it's different
