I have now, im doing web cam independantly now. Am i likely to get paid at all? Is there anyway i can make them pay me my wages im owed?? Surely Adultworks have to stop people like this??

In the eyes of the law it isnt a scam though. All credits belong to the studio manager, this is how they can get away with it.

You can complain to AW to make them more aware of the studio and situation but nothing legally can be done sorry.

Hopefully the other members of the group will google this thread and get out while they can.

Sad fact is that when i joined, i was new to the industry so i didnt know anything about it. I only cam across this when i wasnt getting paid and looked into things......they will figure it out soon enough! Its just a shame AW dont stop people like that!!

Yeah he's still getting them off gumtree. Thing is £200 per day DOES look good if you're used to 9-5 shitty jobs, or a broke student etc. It starts to all fall apart though when they realize he doesn't pay them, they have no idea what site they're on or what they're meant to be doing, then when they get uppity, he sacks them and keeps their money. Total cunt bag. But I can see why so many girls are scammed this way. This could have been me, or you, or any of us if we had no way of knowing better!

It looks like he's also making sure that they don't have e-mail access or anything, because all the profiles are soooo basic. He'll probably just get them to download justcamit and log on. I noticed a lot of the girls (if not all) don't offer pre-booked sessions or booked calls etc, he's obviously now in COMPLETE control of their profile so they don't twig (well, he's hoping anyway). As obviously that's how the other girls realised what a dick he was before... by talking to other people and seeing this forum, etc.

Works 2-ways though, profiles like that won't make much cash at all. Still, multiply the profiles altogether... and more if they sign up - dozens and dozens and it's still money for fucking nothing...

You can go direct into chat with any girl you see on and link her to this thread. Unfortunately they all seem totally brainwashed until they find themselves without pay.. Then they come a googling saying they wished they'd found this sooner *sigh*
