Verification Photo

Hey everyone. I recently joined AW, just a few days ago.

I uploaded a verification photo, and through my own fault it was initially rejected. ( I wrote my username, rather than user ID number! ). I took another straight away ( with user ID ) and uploaded it. I contacted AW to enquire how long it would take for my profile to become verified and they replied saying no new photo had been uploaded. So I again, uploaded it, and asked AW how long it would take. They again replied saying no new photos had been uploaded. Grrrrr!

On my Member verification page, its clearly says in Green lettering " Your verification photo has been approved ", but it still says I am not verified. Also, it doesn't state I am verified on my profile.

Is anyone able to tell me what, if anything I am doing wrong?

As you closed the other thread, rather than accept you were wrong, I felt I had every right to respond here.

As my post mentions the offering services was incorrect.

The profile was real, you done work for them and they we're selling it as expected. Just happens to be the site you are also working on. When someone normally says its a fake profile its because the pics are downloaded from the net, not when the actual model does the pics for a producer and they try to sell it.

I also wouldnt say they fraudulently used your ID when you gave it to them, the ID represents the performer is over 18.

How could it be someone pretending to be you when it was you in the content.

Will have to end this one here as my professional side is telling my personal side to stop typing.

Case closed, glad its sorted and hopefully everyone learnt from the situation including the producer.

Of course my ID was fraudulently used. I provided it for 1 job, and they unlawfully passed it onto a third party. This is in direct conflict with the Data protection act!

Secondly, I think you have misunderstood copyright and ownership laws. If the producer had me sign a contract relinquishing all rights and ownership to any material shot ( which they didn't ), of course they can sell the material how they wish, including on adultwork. But, they cannot do it pretending to be me. So they should have had a profile set up as a content provider called, for example, " Bobs Naughty Videos", and not pretended to be a profile run by myself. Thats where the offence occurs.

Thanks for letting us know you didnt sign any contracts at all.

I would hazard a guess the whole group was closed because other profiles had escorting etc when they couldnt of been offering it.

Other thread was closed as a closure to the topic, not because you think I was wrong when ever I personally think both you and the producer have made errors. To want a business to lose money because they slipped up (like we all do) isnt nice, I wonder if they had hoped you lost the 100 credits also or do you think they arent that "negative"? forgive and forget, they could have easily made a few adjustments to correct everything.

Only AW will know the full story but to want to wish someone to lose earnings because of a easily reversible mistake just seems harsh in my point of view.

We could talk about differences of opinion all day until the cows come home but as this benefits no-one we would be wasting both our times when we both have a business to run (also tax season is about to start)

The people behind this business are breaking the law. I didn't even know I was on AW until I tried to join myself. The whole group was set up to deceive people, and it wasn't a genuine mistake. You can't mistakenly set up a profile, offer services and communicate with potential clients. That is being deceitful with the intent of taking money from people. The only mistake they have made is trying to con people. And I am so pleased it has backfired. I think it is obvious from the was they operate that they are not a genuine business, and are just chancers. A massive lesson for me to do a bit more research and be more selective as to who I work with.

Obviously very pleased it has all been sorted with AW now. I made a statement to the Police as they consider it wholly illegal to do what they have done, and am just waiting on them catching up with the people involved, and seeing what they have to say for themselves.

The only good thing to come out of it is that I have found this forum, which has been a great read an insight into adultwork.

As we (I) dont know all the info involved there isnt much point in going into it deeper.

Nothing was previously mentioned about communication as this again tips the scales in the opposite direction.
