Long distance travel for meets

Wondering do any of you travel some distance for meets? like long distance? If so how far or long do you travel for, especially if their a regular girl u meet with. I'm thinking about booking a meet with a girl but she's at least 2 hours drive away.

If she`s on AW, feedbacks and reviews on other sites help.
Phone her up, get a feel of how she comes across, do the booking and confirm with her by phone just before you set off that she is available.
Have a plan B just incase it all falls apart
