If you think of the computer as a circular train track, with all of the programs, disk drives and files as stations.. the processor is the train going around. If a station is busy, loading and unloading takes longer.. if the "train" gets full it will miss out "smaller stations" because it has to make up the time and has no room left anyway.. the clock is the "smallest station" normally so every time it gets bypassed it "loses" it's setting. Eh !what! how can it be more technical than that My only question is what happens if you fall asleep on the train and miss your stop on second thoughts dont answer that dont think my poor little brain could cope

It's a circular.. keeps coming back to the stop you wanted

So I just run the risk of being dizzy going round and round in circles all day which I do anyway so no change really suppose it saes on buying a return fare as well

Well if you are asleep it won't make you that dizzy - or make you wake up with a hangover

Sounds like the "windows Time service" is corrupted You need to unregister, then reregister the service...
W32tm.exe is used to configure Windows Time service settings. It can also be used to diagnose problems with the time service. You have to run it from a command prompt. Open a command window (Run cmd) Then type the following: net stop w32time w32tm /unregister w32tm /register net start w32time w32tm /resync Reboot the machine and see what happens (If you get an access error message then your firewall or antivirus will have to be temporarily disabled (disconnect from the internet while you do this, just in case)
